As early as 600 BCE, magnetic attraction was noticed by humans when fur was rubbed against a piece of amber. When Thomas Edison flipped the switch in 1892, to distribute electrical power to 59 wealthy customers in lower Manhattan, little did he know that it would become a fundamental hallmark of advanced modern society.  

The myriad of ways in which we utilize electricity and how efficiently we manage the required resources presents a continual challenge in how consulting electrical engineers produce reliable power systems for their clients.  You must keep abreast of rapidly advancing technology, regulations and solutions for sustainability.  As a principal or policy maker in a firm, you also must run the operations of your business.  

ACEE is an organization of consulting electrical engineers formed for the purpose of learning about and discussing issues and topics related to electrical engineering that affect business, regulatory and operational matters and technical developments.  Founded in 1993 as a California nonprofit membership corporation, ACEE serves as a resource for the solution of business and professional problems specifically in the connection and advancement of the profession to serve the best interests of the client, community, and the general public.
